Built in collaboration with whitewater professionals, the Cobra Oar Lock by Sawyer sets the bar for control, performance, and durability on demanding rivers. Forged from Mag 70 marine-grade bronze alloy, this oar lock offers superior tensile strength and corrosion resistance, originally engineered for marine propellers and rudder systems.

The extra-wide horns distribute load evenly, reducing stress on the lock and oar. A patented elongated oval opening gives the oar a secure fit while adding 10–15° of vertical motion—ideal for stand-up rowing, tight sculling, and navigating around hazards. Its hammered finish helps reduce fatigue by giving you more precise control during recovery strokes.
