Our warranty program is designed to ensure that every customer has confidence in their purchase. Below you’ll find a detailed overview of our warranty coverage for all AIRE and Tributary-branded products, including boats, accessories, and replacement components.
AIRE offers a ten-year no-fault warranty on all AIRE-branded rafts, catarafts, and kayaks purchased directly from AIRE. This comprehensive warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship, and accidental damage caused by the user. It applies to the entire boat system, including the outer tubes, AIREcells (the internal air bladders), valves, zippers, fabric, and D-ring patches. While this warranty is extensive, it does not cover cosmetic wear, surface abrasion, excessive UV damage, or any damage resulting from neglect, misuse, or improper storage. Additionally, the warranty may be voided if the boat has been structurally altered or used in a manner that exceeds its design specifications, including commercial use. Coverage begins on the date of retail purchase. If a warranty registration was not submitted and proof of purchase is unavailable, the date of manufacture will be used to establish the warranty period.
For customers using AIRE boats in commercial, non-profit, government, or pro-purchase programs, a five-year no-fault warranty applies. This policy mirrors the retail warranty in terms of what it covers, but is limited to a five-year period from the date of purchase. As with the retail warranty, it excludes cosmetic issues, excessive UV exposure, and misuse. Warranty eligibility is based on the original purchase date or the manufacture date when documentation is not available.
Tributary-branded rafts, catarafts, and Strike kayaks are covered under a five-year limited warranty for retail customers. This warranty protects against manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship. Components such as tubes, AIREcells, valves, zippers, and D-ring patches are included under the policy. It does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes, UV damage, or damage resulting from improper use or storage. Using the boat for commercial purposes or making structural alterations may void the warranty. The warranty period begins on the original purchase date, or the manufacture date if proof of purchase is not available.
Tributary rafts and Strike kayaks used for commercial purposes are covered under a three-year limited commercial use warranty. This policy includes the boat’s fabric, AIREcells, D-ring patches, valves, and zippers. It does not cover skegs, deck pads, cosmetic wear, or damage resulting from abuse, excessive UV exposure, or modifications. As with all warranties, the period of coverage is based on the original purchase date unless otherwise documented by a manufacturing record.
Tributary Tomcat, SPUD, Tater, and Sawtooth series kayaks purchased at retail are covered under a one-year limited warranty. This warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship, covering the tubes, D-ring patches, AIREcells, valves, and zippers. Damage from everyday use, UV exposure, improper storage, or neglect is not covered. If no purchase documentation is available, coverage begins from the manufacturer’s date.
This one-year warranty applies to Tributary Tomcat, SPUD, Tater, and Sawtooth kayaks used in a commercial setting. It covers the same components as the retail warranty but for a shorter term. As with all limited warranties, improper use, storage damage, and alterations void the coverage.
Replacement AIREcells are warranted for one year against manufacturing defects. This warranty specifically covers issues such as split seams, cracks along the sides or ends, and defective valve welds. Damage resulting from operator misuse, UV degradation, saltwater corrosion, or storage issues is not included. The coverage begins at the time of purchase.
A one-year limited warranty covers AIRE-branded accessories against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty applies to all accessories purchased through authorized retail channels. It does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes, excessive UV exposure, abuse, neglect, or improper storage. Coverage begins on the original date of purchase and is valid for one year with proof of purchase. If proof of purchase is not available, the date of manufacture may be used to determine warranty eligibility.
To request warranty service, contact AIRE at (800) 247-3432 or reach out to an authorized factory service center. A return authorization number and shipping instructions will be provided. Customers are responsible for shipping the product to the designated repair facility. If the damage is deemed a result of a manufacturing defect, AIRE will cover the cost of return shipping. If the repair is needed due to normal wear or user damage, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. AIRE, Inc. reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace the item, and may substitute discontinued models with current equivalents when necessary.
The use of AIRE and Tributary products carries inherent risks. By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge these risks and release AIRE, Inc. and its affiliates from any liability for injury, death, or damage that may result from the use of our products.
